The musculoskeletal system involves two complex organ systems that we commonly associate with our physical body. As physical beings, we use and abuse our bodies unsuspectingly creating manmade syndromes, ailments and potentially, debilitating chronic pain conditions that create a huge impact on daily life. Though there are well documented types of musculoskeletal conditions, each person’s journey in reaching a diagnosis is very different and unique.

It is much more important to know what sort of person has a disease, than to know what sort of disease a person has.
– Sir William Osler, MD (1849-1919) –

We consider individual patient stories when assessing, diagnosing and furthermore, treating any musculoskeletal condition. Naturopathic medicine can provide a multitude of modalities to aid in the immediate relief, but most importantly, addressing the root cause and applying a whole body treatment approach.

Due to the complexity of musculoskeletal pain, our naturopathic doctors believe in collaborative care with other health care practitioners. They are confident in the tools with which they currently practice, such as orthomolecular medicine, physical medicine, acupuncture, botanical medicine, and homeopathy, but realize that there are other important treatment modalities that other practitioners provide that can help in cooperative care.
