Dr. Kaleigh Anstett
My interest in health began through movement and human performance, leading me to complete a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph before earning my Doctor of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. During my clinical training, I developed a strong interest in sports medicine and musculoskeletal care while completing a dedicated sports medicine rotation. Since entering private practice, I have continued to expand my training in regenerative and integrative medicine to provide patients with a wide range of treatment options.
Many patients come to see me after months—or even years—of trying to make sense of persistent symptoms, conflicting advice, or feeling like something simply isn't right despite being told that their tests are "normal." My goal is to help patients understand why they are feeling the way they are, identify the underlying factors contributing to their health concerns, and develop a treatment plan that is practical, evidence-informed, and tailored to their individual goals.
I believe that good medicine starts with listening. Every patient has a unique story and understanding that story is often the key to finding meaningful solutions. I enjoy working through complex cases, connecting the dots between symptoms, and helping patients better understand how their bodies function. I also believe patients should leave their appointments with a clear understanding of their diagnosis, treatment options, and the reasoning behind every recommendation we make together.
My practice combines the best of conventional and naturopathic medicine. Depending on your individual needs, treatment may include lifestyle and nutrition counselling, targeted supplementation, prescription medications, advanced laboratory testing, regenerative injection therapies, or intravenous nutrient therapy. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with each patient to develop a plan that is both effective and realistic for their lifestyle.
I have a special interest in musculoskeletal medicine and chronic pain, including sports injuries, osteoarthritis, tendon and ligament injuries, nerve pain, and persistent pain conditions. My practice also includes hormone health, digestive concerns, metabolic health, and preventive medicine, with an emphasis on helping patients feel stronger, move better, and improve their overall quality of life.
My advanced training includes prolotherapy, neural and perineural injection therapy, trigger point injections, dry needling, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), hyaluronic acid and cortisone injections when clinically indicated, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, orthomolecular medicine, nutrigenomics, gastrointestinal health, pharmaceutical prescribing, and intravenous nutrient therapy.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three young children, exploring Vancouver Island, staying active, and continually learning through professional development. I understand firsthand that life is busy, and my goal is to help patients find treatment strategies that fit into real life—not add more stress to it.
Whether you're recovering from an injury, struggling with chronic symptoms, or simply looking to better understand your health, I look forward to working with you and helping you move toward lasting, meaningful wellness.
